Review

This comic really got me out of my reading slump. It had been a couple of months since I read anything and wanted something new. It is kinda wild that this originally came out in 2017 and almost 10 years later we are dealing with some of the things that happened in this comic. With the occupations of ICE in major cities, this comic really features what it feels like to live in one of those occupation zones. I really loved Kade Mercer, who is the main character in this comic. It is quite amazing how Johnson is able to capture DT the way he does. It is eerily too accurate and gave me the creeps. Also with the advancement of drone warfare and reading this comic in 2026. Kinda blew my mind because drone warfare is a topic I find so fascinating. All in all I am rating this comic 5 stars. I am grateful to even have this trade paperback signed by Phillip K Johnson. Happy I impulsed purchased this at C2E2.
